Elementary ROUTES Program
An opportunity for Low German-speaking students between the ages of 4 and 14 to work towards their Grade 8 Graduation Diploma using a flexible and free program.

What are the benefits?
Full Ontario curriculum
Reading, writing and mathematics are the core focus – plus all other areas of the Ontario curriculum.
Low German-speaking staff
Staff who speak Low German are available to support students and families.
Full Ontario Curriculum
Reading, writing and mathematics are the core focus – plus all other areas of the Ontario curriculum.
Busing available
Transportation is available for students with the Crossroads/St. Davids transportation boundary.
Culturally respectful
Programming is developed with community input and is respectful of religious and cultural beliefs.
Extracurricular activities
Students can take part in extracurricular activities – part of the public school experience.

Who can join and when?
Who can apply?
Children ages 4 – 14 may register for the program.
When can they apply?
We welcome students throughout the year. Ideally, families register in the spring before their intended September start.
What if the children go to another school that is either within or outside of the DSBN?
That’s not a problem! You may apply from any other school or from home schooling.
