The Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) program is a provincially funded program that helps newcomers to Canada improve their English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

There is no cost to this program for those eligible.

You belong in this program if

  • You are 18 or older
  • You want to improve your English skills
  • You are new to Canada
